The 19th edition of the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, the 4th edition of The Battery Show India and the 2nd edition of Energy Storage Summit India will be held from October 22 to 24, 2026, at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. Organised by Informa Markets in India, the three co-located events will bring together companies and industry professionals from across the renewable energy, battery manufacturing and energy storage sectors.
The events are expected to feature more than 1,080 exhibitors, 1,400 brands and 54,000 industry professionals. The programme will include over 40 conference sessions, more than 500 speakers and moderators, and four CXO conclaves. The exhibitions will cover renewable power generation, solar energy, bioenergy, battery manufacturing, energy storage systems and related technologies. The combined platform will connect manufacturers, project developers, technology providers, investors and policymakers to discuss industry developments, explore business opportunities and establish partnerships.
India added 55.29 GW of non-fossil fuel-based power capacity in FY 2025–26, including 44.61 GW of solar capacity. As renewable energy deployment increases, domestic manufacturing, reliable supply chains and energy storage are gaining importance in supporting the country’s energy requirements.
REI Expo will focus on solar energy, bioenergy and other renewable energy applications. Participating companies will showcase equipment, technologies and solutions for renewable power generation and project development.
Exhibitors will include Waaree Energies, Premier Energies, Vikram Solar, Reliance, Avaada, ReNew, Adani Solar, GREW, Kosol Energie, Emmvee Energies, Gautam Solar, Dhash Green Energy, Wattpower, Deye Inverters and Solis, alongside other Indian and international companies.
Australia will participate as the Partner Country. The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) is leading a delegation of 32 representatives from 21 Australian clean energy companies. Murray Spence, Trade and Investment Commissioner at Austrade, said the event would provide Australian companies with an opportunity to connect with Indian businesses and explore commercial partnerships. The Australian delegation will be present at Pavilion B514 in Hall 11.
The Battery Show India will feature advanced battery technologies, battery management systems, power electronics, grid-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), smart-grid solutions, manufacturing technologies and research and development. Participating companies will include CATL, EVE Energy, Pom Power Systems, Lineage Power, Smart Grids, DDEV Plastics Clean Energy, PNT, Semco Infratech, iPower Batteries, Bharat Cell, Envision, Epsilon and Saint-Gobain. The event will also feature international participation from markets including Germany, Australia, Japan, South Korea and China. A dedicated German Pavilion and a specialised BESS Hall will be part of the exhibition.
Supported by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, The Battery Show India will provide a platform to examine developments in battery production, technology and storage applications. The events will include participation from Germany, Australia, Scotland, European Union countries, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Nairobi and other markets. A high-level Scottish business delegation and engagement with the European Cluster Collaboration Platform will add to the international programme.
Germany and Australia will have country pavilions. A Bio Energy Pavilion featuring more than 50 companies will showcase developments in bioenergy. A Startup Pavilion and Investor Lounge will provide opportunities for emerging companies, investors and other industry participants to meet.
The conference programme will feature four tracks: Shakti, UrjaX, Surya and Horizon. Energy Storage Summit India will host discussions on storage deployment and the integration of renewable power into electricity grids. Four CXO conclaves will bring senior executives together to discuss business priorities and technology developments. Knowledge partners include BloombergNEF, Frost & Sullivan, Wood Mackenzie, CEEW, S&P Global, pv magazine, 1Lattice, Praxis Global, CSTEP and Fraunhofer. The programme will also include white papers and industry insights.
Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, said the events would bring technology providers, manufacturers, investors and policymakers together to discuss renewable energy deployment, domestic manufacturing, battery technologies and energy storage. He added that the platform would support business engagement and partnerships across India’s clean energy sector.
The events are supported by industry associations and knowledge partners, including the Indian Bioenergy Association, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, CSTEP and TERI. India’s renewable energy expansion is creating opportunities in power generation, manufacturing, transmission and energy storage. Initiatives such as the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) are also supporting domestic manufacturing and supply-chain development.
According to the Ministry of Power, the Central Electricity Authority’s National Electricity Plan projects a requirement of 208 GWh of battery energy storage by 2030. The source material also reports 35.8 GWh of BESS capacity under construction, highlighting the role of storage in managing renewable power generation and improving grid integration.
Large solar projects at Bhadla in Rajasthan, Pavagada in Karnataka and Rewa in Madhya Pradesh reflect the scale of utility-level renewable energy development in India. Investments in wind power, transmission infrastructure, solar parks and battery storage are creating further opportunities across the energy supply chain.
REI Expo 2026, The Battery Show India 2026 and Energy Storage Summit India will provide a common platform for industry participants to discuss these developments and explore opportunities in renewable power generation, battery manufacturing, storage systems and grid infrastructure.
