AXISCADES Technologies Limited (NSE: AXISCADES; BSE: 532395) has announced that its Board of Directors approved the acquisition of substantially all business assets of ITSJ Group, Inc, a precision engineering and electronics manufacturing company based in San Jose, California. The acquisition will be carried out by XIDA Inc, AXISCADES’ US-based AI infrastructure business and a step-down subsidiary of the group.
Approved on October 14, 2026, the transaction is intended to give XIDA an operating base in Silicon Valley and established supplier positions in semiconductor equipment and data-centre infrastructure. The move will expand AXISCADES’ presence in the physical infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment, cooling systems and related hardware.
Founded in 2023, ITSJ supplies sub-assemblies for semiconductor capital equipment as well as cooling and infrastructure systems for data centres. Its manufacturing capabilities include CNC machining, printed circuit board design and assembly, electrical cabinets, cable and harness assemblies, box builds and system integration. The company supports customers from prototype development through production.
The acquisition will give XIDA access to ITSJ’s existing customer relationships and supplier qualifications. These are important in semiconductor equipment and data-centre supply chains, where customers require specialised engineering, manufacturing quality and consistent delivery.
XIDA plans to build on ITSJ’s existing operations by bringing in additional capital, financial and quality systems, management resources and engineering capabilities from the wider AXISCADES group. The group will also draw on its India-based design and manufacturing platform to support the business as it expands.
Following completion, XIDA plans to strengthen its global delivery model by combining a US-based operating presence with engineering capabilities in India. According to the company, this approach is intended to diversify delivery operations and improve resilience amid changing tariffs and international trade conditions.
Dr S Ravi Narayanan, Chairman of AXISCADES Technologies, said ITSJ would provide XIDA with access to both semiconductor equipment and data-centre infrastructure supply chains. He said the acquisition would support the group’s ambition to develop XIDA into a global AI infrastructure company.
AXISCADES serves customers in aerospace, defence, electronics and semiconductors. Through XIDA, the group is expanding its focus on AI infrastructure and deep technology, including electronics design, semiconductor equipment sub-systems, data-centre thermal systems and edge AI.
ITSJ’s established manufacturing capabilities and customer network are expected to complement these activities. The acquisition will extend AXISCADES’ reach into the hardware infrastructure required to manufacture advanced chips and operate AI data centres, adding to the group’s existing electronics and embedded systems expertise.
