AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies Private Limited, a subsidiary of AXISCADES Technologies Limited (BSE: 532395 | NSE: AXISCADES) and a leading Indian defence, aerospace, and strategic electronics solutions provider, has announced a major expansion of its longstanding partnership with MBDA, the renowned European missile systems manufacturer, to further advance India’s Make in India defence programs.
The collaboration between AXISCADES and MBDA began a decade ago with the joint development of advanced test benches for the MICA missile. Since then, the partnership has evolved into a deep strategic alliance, encompassing key projects such as the design and development of missile launchers. Both companies have consistently worked together to strengthen India’s indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions for the nation’s armed forces.
Marking a new milestone in this partnership, AXISCADES has inaugurated an expanded test bench manufacturing facility at its Aeroland campus in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. This modern facility is dedicated to large-scale production of advanced test benches engineered to support MBDA’s diverse missile and launcher platforms. Equipped with advanced infrastructure, the new center enhances production capacity and reinforces AXISCADES’ position as a trusted partner in MBDA’s global supply chain.
In alignment with India’s vision for self-reliance and technological independence in defence manufacturing, AXISCADES is also establishing a dedicated MBDA system integration center at the Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Cluster (DAC) in Bengaluru. This upcoming facility will serve as a hub for collaboration, enabling faster localization of missile technologies and expanding India’s domestic production capabilities. Additionally, the company has announced plans to develop a Missile Atmanirbhar Complex (MAC) in Hyderabad — a world-class manufacturing campus designed for the large-scale production of next-generation missile systems, further contributing to India’s growing role in the global defence supply chain.
Speaking on the occasion, Florent Duleux, Group Director, Export Sales at MBDA, said, “The new test bench facility at AXISCADES’ Aeroland campus and the upcoming site at the Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Cluster represent a strong step forward in supporting India’s Make in India goals. These facilities will not only serve MBDA’s programs in India but also help address our expanding global requirements.”
Dr Sampath Ravinarayanan, Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of AXISCADES, added, “We are proud to deepen our collaboration with MBDA, one of the world’s most respected names in missile systems. This partnership reinforces our commitment to advancing India’s defence ecosystem through innovation, engineering excellence, and indigenous manufacturing. Together, we are shaping the next chapter of India’s missile production capabilities and expanding our role in the global defence landscape.”
