Six Sense Mobility, an Indian automotive electronics company, has inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, marking its fourth anniversary and a major step in expanding its manufacturing and research capabilities. The company has invested more than ₹15 crore in the new plant and is targeting revenue of ₹500 crore, supported by an existing order book of ₹160 crore.
Spread across 40,000 square feet, the facility has an installed production capacity of more than one million units annually. It brings electronics manufacturing, assembly, hardware development, firmware and software integration under one roof, allowing the company to manage product quality, customisation and production schedules more directly.
The plant will support the company’s existing range of connected-vehicle electronics and control units while providing additional capacity for advanced automotive technologies. Its development focus includes vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, radar systems and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These technologies are becoming increasingly important as vehicle manufacturers move towards connected and software-defined vehicles.
Sumit Roy, Co-founder and CEO of Six Sense Mobility, said the company was established with the aim of developing automotive electronics with greater control over both hardware and software. He added that the new facility would help the company support larger customer programmes and move technologies such as V2X from research and development into commercial production.
The company is backed by IIT Delhi and has received investments from Piper Serica and investor Ashish Kacholia. Its products are already deployed in vehicles in India and Europe, and it aims to develop solutions that meet the requirements of international automotive markets.
Six Sense Mobility is also planning to expand its research and development activities to support new product development and improve its capabilities in advanced automotive electronics. The company is targeting opportunities in North America and Southeast Asia as it seeks to increase its presence in global markets.
As part of its expansion plans, the company intends to triple its workforce over the next two years, creating approximately 300 engineering and manufacturing positions. The recruitment drive is expected to support production growth, product development and the expansion of its customer base.
Founded on 13 October 2022, Six Sense Mobility is headquartered in Noida and was established by Sumit Roy, Narendra Verma and Kapil Rao. The company develops connected-vehicle electronics covering hardware, firmware and software, serving the changing requirements of automotive manufacturers.
The new manufacturing facility is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to develop and produce automotive electronic systems within India. By bringing design, software integration and manufacturing together, Six Sense Mobility aims to improve production readiness, expand its product portfolio and support the growing demand for connected mobility technologies.
The investment also reflects the company’s focus on strengthening domestic automotive electronics manufacturing and contributing to India’s ambitions in advanced manufacturing under the Make in India initiative. With a ₹160 crore order book, plans to target ₹500 crore in revenue and an expanded manufacturing base, Six Sense Mobility is positioning itself for growth in India’s automotive technology sector while pursuing opportunities in international markets.
