Solex Energy Wins ₹75.96 Crore Solar Module Order

Solex Energy Limited has secured a work order worth ₹75.96 crore from domestic entities in the power and electricity sector for the supply of N-Type TOPCon G12R Glass-to-Glass solar photovoltaic modules. The order covers 620 Wp solar PV modules, with the total contract value of ₹75.96 crore inclusive of applicable duties and taxes. The modules will be supplied for renewable energy projects in the domestic market.

The order adds to Solex Energy’s portfolio of solar module supplies and comes as demand increases for higher-efficiency photovoltaic technologies in utility-scale and other large solar installations. The 620 Wp N-Type TOPCon G12R Glass-to-Glass modules are designed for high power output, durability and long-term performance. The company said the technology is suited to utility-scale projects and other applications requiring high-output solar modules.

Solex manufactures its solar modules at its facility near Surat in Gujarat. Its products are certified to standards and requirements including IEC, CE, UL, CEC, BIS, EPD and Kiwa PVEL 2026. The company’s modules are also listed under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).

Solex has been active in the solar sector since 1995 and supplies products for utility, commercial, industrial and public sector projects in India and overseas. The company is also expanding its manufacturing capabilities, quality systems and product portfolio as part of its Vision 2030 roadmap.

The company operates an Industry 4.0-enabled manufacturing facility at Tadkeshwar, Gujarat, with an installed photovoltaic module production capacity of 4 GW. The facility uses automated manufacturing processes, real-time quality monitoring and data-based production systems. In addition to module manufacturing, Solex provides engineering, procurement and construction services for utility-scale, commercial, industrial and institutional solar projects.

The company said its manufacturing and technology investments are aimed at supporting demand for high-efficiency solar modules in India and international markets. It is also working on export capabilities and workforce development, including programmes focused on skilling young people from tribal communities.

Solex Energy is headquartered in Surat, Gujarat, and is listed on the National Stock Exchange under the symbol SOLEX and on the Bombay Stock Exchange under code 544862. The company has developed partnerships with customers and project developers across multiple segments of the solar industry.

The latest order is expected to add to the company’s domestic order pipeline and support its efforts to expand its presence in India’s solar manufacturing and renewable energy market. The company continues to focus on module manufacturing, EPC services and other activities across the solar value chain.
