Magma, an integrated industrial solutions company, has signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) worth more than INR 800 crore from enterprise manufacturers across its advanced materials, waste management, precision engineering and digital industrial solutions businesses. The company expects to execute around 70% of the current LOI pipeline during FY27, providing visibility for the remainder of the financial year. The pipeline reflects demand from large manufacturing customers and increasing business opportunities across Magma’s enterprise relationships.

India’s industrial B2B trade is estimated at around USD 2 trillion. Within precision engineering, imports account for an estimated 60–65% of high-value component consumption, representing an annual opportunity of more than INR 20,000 crore for organised and localised suppliers.

Magma Engineering is seeing demand for the indigenisation and supply of critical components and precision-engineered parts, particularly in applications where component availability can affect manufacturing uptime. The company is working with manufacturers seeking domestic alternatives for specialised components and engineering requirements.

Magma’s Advanced Materials business is also seeing demand for performance materials, compounds and specialty products used in ceramics, polymers, packaging and other industrial applications. Manufacturers are increasingly seeking materials that can improve production quality, efficiency and consistency.

The company’s Magma Green business is seeing increased demand for clean, sorted and traceable recycled industrial feedstock. Manufacturers are looking for alternatives to virgin materials to address cost requirements, sustainability objectives and regulatory obligations. India’s recycling market is estimated at USD 23.7 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach USD 62.6 billion by 2035. The company said tighter Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements are increasing the importance of traceable recycled feedstock in industrial procurement.

Magma’s digital solutions are being deployed across industrial procurement and supply chain processes, adding another area of engagement with manufacturing customers. The company currently serves more than 200 active factories across India, including over 110 large enterprise and conglomerate customers. Its customer base includes Reliance, JB Group, Birla Group, Indorama Group, RSWM Ltd, Uflex Ltd, Chiripal Group, Alliance Group, Dodhia Industries, Ganesha Ecosphere and Dalmia Industries, along with more than 100 other industrial groups operating in chemicals, ceramics, plastics, polymers and packaging.

“What we are seeing today is the beginning of a compounding flywheel. A critical problem gets us into a factory, execution earns trust, and that trust creates the opportunity to solve more of the customer’s industrial needs,” said Neal Thakker, Founder and CEO, Magma. “As this playbook repeats across enterprises, our focus is to scale with discipline, remain capital efficient and continue building a profitable business. We think the platform we can build from here is significantly larger than what exists today,” Thakker added.

Founded in August 2022, Magma has been profitable since inception and today serves over 250 industrial customers, including Reliance, Adani, and Arvind Group. The company delivers a full-stack ecosystem for factory materials, manufacturing solutions, and precision-engineered components across ceramics, industrial chemicals, paper, polymers, plastics, and packaging.

With operations spanning 12 states across India, Magma is backed by leading investors such as General Catalyst, Capria Ventures, Titan Capital, Avinya Ventures, GVFL Ltd, Accion Venture Lab, and WEH Ventures. This blend of equity and debt financing is focused on strengthening its core factory offerings, deepening backward integration, and enabling greater procurement agility for its customers.
