Cranex Limited, a BSE-listed company (Scrip Id: 522001), has received a Letter of Award from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and a Purchase Order from DEE VEE Projects Limited for orders worth approximately ₹7.17 crore. The orders cover crane and material handling equipment and will add to Cranex’s order book. The company will execute the contracts in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the respective orders.
BHEL has awarded Cranex a Letter of Award for a Double Girder EOT Crane up to 100 tonnes for the 3×16 MW HPPCL Chanju Stage III Hydro Electric Project. The order is valued at approximately ₹1.33 crore. DEE VEE Projects Limited has placed a Purchase Order for six material handling systems covering cranes, hoists and yokes, along with mandatory spares, erection and commissioning. The order is valued at approximately ₹5.84 crore. The company said the orders strengthen its business pipeline and reflect continued demand for its lifting and material handling equipment from industrial customers.

Cranex is an approved vendor for several organisations, including BHEL, NTPC, NHPC, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority, Indian Railways, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Larsen & Toubro, Indian Space Research Organisation/Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Vedanta Aluminium, Nuclear Power Corporation of India, BEML, Bharat Electronics, Military Engineer Services and Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited.
These approvals enable Cranex to participate in procurement programmes and projects across infrastructure, energy, transportation, defence, aerospace, nuclear and industrial sectors. The company is among the Indian crane manufacturers with capabilities to manufacture cranes with lifting capacities of up to 200 tonnes. Cranex said the latest orders will support its focus on expanding its customer base and strengthening its presence in the material handling equipment market.
