Oben Electric has rolled out its 10,000th electric motorcycle from its Bengaluru manufacturing facility, marking a production milestone for the company as it expands its presence in India’s electric motorcycle market. The milestone covers the company’s Rorr series, with the Rorr Evo emerging as a key model for its next phase of growth. The Rorr Evo has crossed 25,000 bookings, with production underway and deliveries taking place across India. Oben Electric is increasing production to meet customer demand.

Oben Electric manufactures its motorcycles at a 3.5-acre facility in Bengaluru, which has an annual production capacity of 1 lakh electric motorcycles. The company develops and manufactures several critical EV components in-house, including LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units, chargers and software.
The company said its in-house capabilities provide greater control over product development, manufacturing, quality and supply chains. Oben Electric has also developed proprietary EV technologies and holds more than 25 patents covering its technology and components. The company has built a retail and service network of more than 150 showrooms and dedicated Oben Care service centres across more than 90 cities in 18 states. It plans to add 200 more exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27.
Motorcycles account for nearly 65 per cent of India’s annual two-wheeler sales, making the segment an important part of the country’s electric mobility transition. Oben Electric is focusing on electric motorcycles for everyday mobility, combining performance, practicality, technology and pricing.
