SOLIZE PARTNERS India has completed the implementation and go-live of Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform at Intelligent Ambient Comfort (IAC), a division of Lumax Auto Technologies Limited. The deployment provides Lumax IAC with a common digital environment for engineering data, product development processes and collaboration across its automotive interior programmes.
Lumax IAC develops cabin interior systems and cockpit solutions for multiple vehicle programmes. As product variants and engineering requirements increase, the company needed to connect engineering information and processes across product development and manufacturing.
The implementation focused on creating a unified engineering database, improving the handover of information from engineering to manufacturing, strengthening continuity across Bill of Materials processes and bringing key engineering workflows into a common digital environment.
SOLIZE PARTNERS India used a configuration-driven approach to address Lumax IAC’s product variants and configuration requirements while limiting the need for extensive customisation. The project was implemented across multiple Lumax IAC locations and was completed in approximately six months.
“The adoption of Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform provides Lumax IAC with a connected digital foundation. By unifying engineering data and processes, we are strengthening continuity, improving visibility and accelerating the development of next-generation automotive interior solutions,” said Sunil Koparkar, CEO, Lumax IAC.
With the platform now operational, Lumax IAC has a connected engineering environment that improves traceability and collaboration between engineering teams and downstream operations. The system also provides a base for the company to integrate additional processes and functions across the product lifecycle.
“Successfully taking Lumax IAC live on The 3DEXPERIENCE Platform is an important milestone for both organizations. This engagement brought together our platform expertise, deep automotive domain knowledge, and understanding of complex engineering processes,” said Mahadevan VS, CEO & Director, SOLIZE PARTNERS India.
Deepak NG, Managing Director, India, Dassault Systèmes, said the deployment demonstrates the role of a connected digital environment in managing complex automotive engineering processes. “By uniting product data, processes, and teams on a single platform, Lumax IAC has established a strong digital foundation to accelerate innovation and drive seamless lifecycle continuity,” he said.
The project combines Lumax IAC’s automotive engineering expertise with Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform and SOLIZE PARTNERS India’s engineering and manufacturing experience. SOLIZE PARTNERS India, headquartered in Bengaluru, brings more than 35 years of engineering and manufacturing experience. The company worked with Lumax IAC teams to standardise engineering processes and establish a scalable digital environment across locations.
The deployment is expected to support Lumax IAC as it expands its digital engineering capabilities and connects additional activities across the product development lifecycle. The common platform provides engineering teams with access to connected product information and processes while supporting collaboration between different functions involved in product development and manufacturing.
