CP Automation and SineTamer have partnered with Ennergo, an Italian company specialising in power quality and energy solutions, to strengthen their presence in Southern Europe and provide local technical support to customers in Italy. Based in San Donà di Piave, Venice, Ennergo provides power quality solutions covering technology supply, installation, onsite support and commissioning. Under the new partnership, the company will offer SineTamer’s transient frequency attenuation devices (TFAD) to industrial and commercial customers in Italy.

The collaboration combines SineTamer’s power quality technology and CP Automation’s international market presence with Ennergo’s local technical expertise. The companies said the arrangement will support both Italian businesses and multinational companies operating in the country.

SineTamer’s TFAD technology uses frequency attenuation circuitry instead of voltage actuation. The system is designed to track and follow the electrical sine wave and provide 360-degree protection against power disturbances. The technology also addresses supraharmonic waveform distortion in the 2–150 kHz frequency range. Such disturbances can be difficult to detect and manage using conventional power quality equipment and are becoming more relevant as industrial facilities adopt increasing amounts of power electronics and decentralised energy systems.

“As electrical networks become more complex, with increased use of power electronics and decentralised energy sources, power quality risks are rising,” said Massimiliano Rambhakta Paggiaro, General Manager, Ennergo. “By partnering with CP Automation and SineTamer, we can offer our customers proven, globally recognised technology, while still providing fast, knowledgeable local support here in Italy,” he added.

John Mitchell, Global Sales and Marketing Director, CP Automation, said Ennergo understands the Italian power quality market and the requirements of both domestic and multinational customers. “This partnership allows us to support global customers consistently, while ensuring they benefit from responsive, on-the-ground expertise,” he said. Jeff Edwards, CEO and Founder, SineTamer, said the partnership would help address the impact of transients and supraharmonics in modern industrial facilities.

Ennergo has experience in providing customised power quality and energy solutions across different industrial sectors. The company recently supported a global customer with local implementation and technical services in Italy, combining international technology with local knowledge, language capabilities and onsite support.

SineTamer products are designed to protect variable frequency AC/DC drives and other sensitive electronic equipment from electrical disturbances. The partnership with Ennergo will provide Italian customers with access to the technology along with local installation, commissioning and technical support. The companies said the collaboration will help expand the availability of power quality solutions in Italy as industrial and commercial facilities increasingly address electrical disturbances associated with modern power systems.
