Hyundai BAYON has been developed around five key areas: Intelligence On, Safety On, Comfort On, Performance On and Style On. The vehicle combines connected technology, safety features, everyday driving performance and a design aimed at modern Indian customers.

Commenting on the opening of bookings, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “At Hyundai Motor India, we continuously strive to redefine mobility experiences through meaningful innovation. The 4.2-metre-long SUV features a futuristic exterior with a sculpted bonnet, a distinctive front fascia and signature H-Edge LED daytime running lights. Geometric wheel arches, wrap-around door cladding and bridge-type roof rails add to its SUV character. The overall design combines a wide stance with flowing lines intended to give the vehicle a dynamic appearance. Inside, the BAYON focuses on space and everyday usability. Its proportions and interior layout are designed to provide comfortable legroom, headroom and shoulder room for occupants while making efficient use of the available cabin space.

Technology is a key part of the BAYON’s positioning as an Intelligent Utility Vehicle. The in-built generative AI voice assistant is designed to make vehicle interactions more intuitive and provide a connected mobility experience. Hyundai has integrated technology and convenience features with the aim of making everyday driving simpler and more engaging.

Safety remains another major focus of the vehicle. Built on the Global K Enhanced Platform and engineered for 5-star Indian safety standards, the BAYON has been developed with attention to occupant protection, structural strength and advanced safety engineering. The SUV also comes with a range of safety features aimed at providing greater confidence during daily driving.

The BAYON will be powered by Hyundai’s petrol powertrain and will be available with both Manual Transmission (MT) and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) options. The powertrain is designed to provide a refined and responsive driving experience across city and highway conditions.

Customers can book the Hyundai BAYON by paying ₹11,000 through Hyundai India’s official website or at authorised Hyundai dealerships across India. The SUV is scheduled to arrive during the festive season, with delivery timelines to be announced at the time of launch.
