Miracle Miles Technology has successfully implemented Centric PLM to improve product data management and support its growing multi-brand footwear business across international markets. Headquartered in Changsha, Miracle Miles has expanded its operations across China and the United States, with offices in Shenzhen, Fuzhou and Los Angeles. The company owns footwear brands including Dream Pairs, Bruno Marc and Nortiv8, serving customers across women’s, men’s, children’s, outdoor and athletic categories in North America, Europe and Asia.
The company’s acquisition of US-based e-commerce business Justfab significantly expanded its international reach. At the same time, the acquisition created a need for stronger control and visibility over product information across its global operations. Miracle Miles selected Centric PLM to establish a common product data platform while allowing local teams to continue operating with the flexibility required for product development and market execution.
“Before the project, we did not have enough visibility into the US team’s product data,” said Milo Zhong, IT Manager and PLM Project Lead at Miracle Miles. “Centric PLM now shows how much data exists, where product development stands and which processes have room to improve. That information has become an important asset for Miracle Miles and provides a reliable foundation for more targeted marketing decisions.”
The implementation involved upgrading and integrating Justfab’s existing system into Miracle Miles’ wider operations. Teams from Miracle Miles’ China headquarters, Justfab and Techstyle in the US, along with Centric Software teams in China and the United States, worked together throughout the project.
The international nature of the implementation required coordination across different time zones, languages and business practices. The teams also worked to transfer Justfab’s detailed business processes and operational requirements into the upgraded PLM environment. “The implementation experience was very positive,” Mr Zhong said. “The Centric team understood our requirements quickly because they had strong industry context and knew how product development teams work.”
Since the system went live, the Justfab team in the US has continued using Centric PLM, helping maintain business continuity following the acquisition. Meanwhile, Miracle Miles’ headquarters now has greater visibility into product information, development progress and data quality. The platform also gives the group a common structure for managing product information and processes while allowing individual teams to maintain their local workflows.
“Global expansion is no longer just about entering new markets. It is about connecting product data while preserving the autonomy local teams need to innovate,” said Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software. The successful implementation provides Miracle Miles with a stronger foundation for managing its expanding footwear portfolio and connecting global teams as the company continues to grow internationally.
