Dover Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Leistung Engineering, an Ahmedabad-based manufacturer of cryogenic valves and flow control products. The acquisition will strengthen Dover’s presence in India and expand its manufacturing capabilities for low-temperature applications.

Leistung designs and manufactures cryogenic valves used in liquefied natural gas (LNG), industrial gas and other applications that require reliable flow control at extremely low temperatures. Its product portfolio includes globe valves, check valves and control valves, along with diaphragm valves, filtration systems and related equipment.

Following completion of the transaction, Leistung will become part of OPW Fluid Transfer Solutions, which operates within Dover’s Clean Energy & Fueling segment. The company’s existing manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad is expected to become an important production hub for Dover in India.

Dover said the acquisition will provide additional manufacturing capacity and room for future expansion as demand for cryogenic equipment increases. The company expects Leistung’s established engineering capabilities and product portfolio to complement OPW’s existing solutions for the energy and industrial markets.

India’s growing investment in LNG terminals, natural gas pipelines and related energy infrastructure is creating demand for advanced cryogenic flow control equipment. Leistung has recorded double-digit organic growth over the past three years, supported by investments in research and development and the introduction of new products.

David Malinas, President of OPW, said the acquisition would strengthen the company’s ability to serve customers in India while expanding its global manufacturing network. “This acquisition strengthens our ability to serve the rapidly growing Indian market while expanding our global manufacturing footprint and advancing our capabilities in cryogenic solutions,” said Mr Malinas. He added that the combination would enable OPW to provide greater value to customers in India and other markets worldwide.

Leistung’s focus on cryogenic technology is closely aligned with the expanding requirements of the energy and industrial gas sectors. Its valves are designed to support the safe and controlled movement of fluids in applications where operating temperatures are significantly below normal ambient conditions.

The acquisition will also give Dover an opportunity to build on Leistung’s local manufacturing and engineering base while supporting future growth in the Indian market. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory requirements. Dover has not disclosed the financial terms of the transaction.

Dover is a diversified global manufacturer with businesses spanning engineered products, clean energy and fueling solutions, imaging, pumps, process equipment and other industrial technologies. Through its operating companies, Dover provides products and services to customers across a wide range of industrial and commercial markets.
