KVS Castings Limited, the foundry division of KVS Premier Group and a manufacturer of ferrous castings, has secured a ₹20 crore order from SAMM Corporation, Delhi, for the manufacture and supply of railway components for use in the Russian Railways network. The order is scheduled for execution from August 2026 and will be completed in phases based on customer requirements and project schedules. The company expects the order to contribute around ₹8 crore to revenue in FY27 and ₹12 crore in FY28.
The order marks an important step in KVS Castings’ efforts to expand its presence in international markets and increase its participation in the global railway supply chain. The supply of railway components for a major overseas railway network also highlights the company’s manufacturing capabilities and its focus on quality and reliability in critical infrastructure applications.
KVS Castings manufactures ferrous castings, including Cast Iron and Ductile Iron products, for a range of industrial applications. The latest order strengthens the company’s railway business and provides additional revenue visibility over the next two financial years.
Production and supplies under the new contract will begin in August 2026. Deliveries will be made in a phased manner in line with the requirements of SAMM Corporation and the project timelines. The company said the order reflects growing customer confidence in its manufacturing capabilities, product quality and ability to meet requirements for specialised railway applications. The contract is also expected to strengthen KVS Castings’ export portfolio and provide a platform for pursuing additional opportunities in international markets.
The railway sector continues to require reliable components that can support safe and efficient operations across large transportation networks. KVS Castings’ participation in the Russian Railways supply chain provides the company with an opportunity to further develop its capabilities in this segment and expand its customer base beyond the domestic market.
With the new order, KVS Castings is focused on timely execution, maintaining product quality and meeting delivery commitments. The company expects the contract to support its growth plans while strengthening its position as a supplier of ferrous castings for critical infrastructure and industrial applications.
The ₹20 crore order is expected to provide a steady contribution to the company’s financial performance through FY27 and FY28. It also represents a significant milestone in KVS Castings’ strategy to build a stronger international business and establish long-term relationships across global industrial and infrastructure markets.
