Linde Material Handling (Linde MH) will present its latest range of airport ground handling vehicles and digital fleet management solutions at the GSE Expo 2026, which will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from September 15 to 17. The company will exhibit at Booth H25 in the outdoor area of the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL), showcasing equipment designed to improve baggage handling, cargo movement and airport logistics operations.

The exhibition comes at a time when the aviation industry is witnessing steady growth in passenger traffic and air cargo movement. With passenger numbers gradually returning to pre-pandemic levels and global air cargo volumes expected to continue growing, airports are increasingly focusing on improving efficiency, speed and reliability across ground handling operations.

Linde MH will demonstrate a wide portfolio of material handling equipment developed specifically for airport environments. The company’s solutions support a variety of applications, including baggage transportation, cargo movement, warehouse logistics and aircraft servicing. The vehicles are designed to operate efficiently in secure airport zones where fast turnaround times are essential for smooth flight operations.

The company said airport operators require equipment that delivers consistent performance while adapting to changing operational requirements. Linde MH addresses these needs through a broad range of vehicle models, equipment options and customized configurations that can be tailored to individual airport applications.

The company also highlighted the importance of vehicle reliability in airport logistics, where delays can directly affect flight schedules and customer service. Its equipment is built to provide high uptime, durability and operational efficiency even under demanding working conditions.

Linde MH’s extensive global service network further supports airport operators by providing maintenance, technical assistance and rapid response services. This enables airlines, cargo handling companies and airport authorities to manage their equipment through a single service partner while reducing downtime and improving fleet availability.Alongside its equipment portfolio, Linde MH will showcase its digital fleet management platform, myLinde, a web-based customer portal designed to improve operational visibility and asset utilization.

The platform enables users to monitor the status of every vehicle in real time through a centralized dashboard. Fleet managers can track vehicle location, usage, battery charge levels and operating performance while gaining valuable insights to improve productivity and safety. The system also supports battery charging management and provides data that helps optimize fleet utilization and maintenance planning.

As digitalization becomes increasingly important in airport logistics, the company believes that data-driven fleet management will help operators improve efficiency while reducing operating costs. One of the highlights of the exhibition will be the automated Linde P120 electric tow tractor, developed for baggage and cargo transportation. The vehicle is part of the Linde P120 to P350 series of automated electric tow tractors, offering towing capacities of up to 35 tonnes.

These autonomous vehicles are designed for repetitive transport tasks commonly found in airports, such as moving baggage cart convoys between terminals and aircraft. Equipped with advanced navigation and safety technologies, they can operate on predefined routes while maintaining consistent performance and reducing manual intervention. Linde MH said automation offers airports an effective way to increase productivity, improve operational consistency and address growing labour challenges while maintaining high safety standards.

With its combination of customized vehicles, automation technologies, digital fleet management tools and comprehensive service support, Linde Material Handling aims to help airports modernize ground handling operations and meet the increasing demands of global passenger and cargo traffic. The company expects strong interest from airlines, airport operators and logistics providers attending GSE Expo 2026 as they explore solutions to improve efficiency, reliability and sustainability in airport logistics.
