Conceived as an integrated research hub, VignanaVeda brings together analytical chemistry, formulation development, pharmacognosy and clinical research under one roof. The centre has been established to examine, validate and optimise Ayurvedic ingredients using contemporary scientific methodologies, while preserving the authenticity of traditional knowledge.
The research facility will focus on characterising botanical actives, establishing quality benchmarks, developing stable and bioavailable formulations, authenticating medicinal plant sources and generating clinical evidence through biomarker studies and safety evaluations. These integrated capabilities are expected to strengthen the company’s research pipeline and support the development of products backed by measurable scientific outcomes.
VignanaVeda is equipped with advanced analytical technologies, including Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thin-Film X-ray Diffraction (TXRD), Raman Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), advanced microscopy and artificial intelligence-enabled research tools. These capabilities will enable scientists to study the molecular characteristics and biological behaviour of botanical ingredients with greater precision, improving formulation design and product consistency.
