Oben Electric has commenced customer deliveries of its newly launched Rorr Evo electric motorcycle after receiving an overwhelming market response that resulted in more than 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of launch. The deliveries began in Bengaluru through the company’s signature “First to Rorr” delivery event, with a phased rollout planned across its retail network over the coming weeks.
The company will gradually extend deliveries through its network of more than 150 showrooms spread across 90-plus cities in 18 states, supported by dedicated service centres. With a manufacturing capacity exceeding one lakh electric motorcycles annually, Oben Electric is gearing up to meet the strong demand while ensuring timely deliveries and a seamless ownership experience.
The response to the Rorr Evo highlights the growing acceptance of electric motorcycles in India, where motorcycles account for nearly two-thirds of the country’s annual two-wheeler sales. As consumers increasingly seek high-performance, reliable and cost-effective mobility solutions, electric motorcycles are emerging as a key driver of the country’s transition to cleaner transportation.

The Rorr Evo is priced at ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom) and incorporates several advanced technologies developed by Oben Electric. It features the company’s SmartIQ AI-powered ride optimisation system, designed to improve riding efficiency and extend range by up to 15 percent. The motorcycle is powered by an in-house developed 9 kW electric motor paired with a 3.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, enabling a claimed range of 180 km, a top speed of 110 kmph and acceleration from 0 to 40 kmph in three seconds.
Additional features include a projector LED headlamp, a 5-inch TFT display, over-the-air software updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilisation and fall detection with emergency SOS enabled through the company’s proprietary ARGUS connected technology platform. Fast charging allows the battery to reach 80 percent capacity in 90 minutes, while an eight-year battery warranty further enhances customer confidence.
Oben Electric designs and manufactures all major EV components, including batteries, motors, vehicle control units, chargers and software, at its Bengaluru facility.
