Achilles, a global provider of supply chain risk management and ESG solutions, has announced the appointment of Sebastien Roussotte as its Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. He succeeds Craig Rodgerson, who had been serving as interim CEO and will now resume his position as Chairman of the Achilles Board.
The leadership transition marks a new phase for Achilles as the company continues to strengthen its position in supply chain assurance, risk management and sustainability services amid rising global demand for resilient and transparent supplier ecosystems.
Craig Rodgerson, who assumed the role of interim CEO following the passing of former CEO Paul Stanley last year, reflected on the company’s journey during the transition period. He said it had been an honour to lead the organisation and praised the commitment, resilience and professionalism of the global Achilles team. He added that Roussotte’s extensive international leadership experience and proven ability to build and transform technology-driven businesses make him well suited to guide the company through its next stage of growth.
Mr Roussotte brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across enterprise software, ESG intelligence, financial technology and data analytics. Before joining Achilles, he served as Chief Executive Officer of GRESB, a globally recognised provider of environmental, social and governance performance benchmarks for the real estate and infrastructure sectors. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Style Analytics, Finastra, Sophis and Thomson Reuters, where he managed international operations across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East while leading business expansion, digital transformation and strategic growth initiatives.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Roussotte said organisations worldwide are operating in an increasingly complex business environment where supply chain resilience, sustainability and risk management have become strategic priorities. He noted that companies are facing greater regulatory scrutiny, evolving geopolitical challenges and increasing expectations for transparency across supplier networks.
For more than 35 years, Achilles has been helping organisations strengthen supply chain resilience through advanced supplier risk management, ESG compliance and sustainability solutions. The company enables businesses to improve supply chain transparency, reduce carbon emissions and manage operational risks while safeguarding business performance and corporate reputation.
