Epson has expanded its industrial printing portfolio in India with the launch of two advanced textile printing systems—the SureColor SC-G9030 Direct-to-Film (DTF) printer and the SureColor SC-F20030 dye-sublimation printer. The new solutions are designed to help textile manufacturers, garment exporters and print service providers improve productivity, print quality and operational efficiency while meeting the growing demand for digital textile production.

The launch comes as India’s textile and apparel sector continues to strengthen its position as a global manufacturing hub. Increasing export opportunities, rising demand for customized and short-run production, and the shift towards digital manufacturing are driving investments in advanced printing technologies. Digital textile printing is also helping manufacturers reduce water consumption, material wastage and excess inventory, supporting more sustainable production practices.

The SureColor SC-G9030 has been developed for commercial Direct-to-Film printing applications, delivering production speeds of up to 34.1 square metres per hour. The printer supports a broad range of materials, including cotton, polyester, nylon, blended fabrics, leather and rigid surfaces, making it suitable for fashion apparel, sportswear, promotional merchandise and personalized products.

Powered by Epson’s PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead technology, the printer delivers sharp image quality and reliable performance. It also features an integrated front heater to minimise ink bleeding, 1.6-litre UltraChrome DF ink packs for extended production, a print resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi, and Epson Edge Print Pro software for streamlined workflow management. The SureColor SC-G9030 is priced at ₹13,89,997.

Epson has also introduced the SureColor SC-F20030, an industrial dye-sublimation printer built for high-volume production environments. Capable of printing up to 295 square metres per hour at 600 x 600 dpi, the system is designed for manufacturers producing sportswear, fashion garments, home décor textiles, soft signage and promotional products.

The printer combines advanced PrecisionCore printhead technology with a high-capacity bulk ink system to minimise downtime and maintain consistent colour accuracy during long production runs. Enhanced media handling capabilities further support uninterrupted industrial-scale operations. The SureColor SC-F20030 is available at ₹66,02,989.

Commenting on the launch, Prabagaran S, Senior General Manager – Sales and Marketing, Epson India, said India’s textile industry is entering a new phase where competitiveness will increasingly depend on speed, flexibility and sustainable manufacturing practices. He noted that digital printing enables manufacturers to respond more quickly to changing customer requirements while improving production efficiency and reducing waste. According to him, the newly launched printers have been developed to support businesses as they modernise operations and scale digital textile production.

With these additions, Epson aims to strengthen its position in India’s industrial printing market by providing technology that addresses the evolving requirements of textile manufacturers. The company believes advanced digital printing solutions will play an increasingly important role in helping the industry improve productivity, enhance product quality and remain competitive in both domestic and global markets.
