Renishaw, a global leader in precision engineering and scientific technologies, has appointed Machine Tool Technologies (MTT) as an Official Channel Partner, formalising a long-standing relationship built on more than 25 years of collaboration in machine tool metrology, calibration and precision manufacturing solutions.
Under the agreement, MTT joins Renishaw’s Channel Partner network as a Platinum Partner, gaining access to the company’s portfolio of advanced encoder technologies. The partnership strengthens MTT’s ability to support manufacturers with high-performance position measurement systems while expanding local access to Renishaw’s latest innovations.
Over the past two decades, MTT has developed extensive expertise in Renishaw’s machine tool metrology technologies, including laser calibration systems and machine performance optimisation solutions. The company has consistently provided installation, maintenance and technical support services to manufacturers seeking greater accuracy, productivity and reliability from their CNC machine tools.
As part of the expanded collaboration, MTT will support customers deploying Renishaw’s FORTiS™ enclosed linear encoder, a next-generation position feedback solution engineered for demanding industrial environments. Designed for modern high-performance machine tools, the FORTiS encoder delivers robust and accurate position measurement even in harsh machining conditions. Advanced sealing technology and high resistance to contamination help maintain consistent machine performance, reduce downtime and support long-term operational reliability. Through local sales, installation and after-sales support, MTT will assist manufacturers in integrating the technology into both new and existing machine platforms.
The appointment aligns with Renishaw’s Channel Partner Programme, which is focused on strengthening customer support and technical expertise across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The programme brings together carefully selected partners with proven capabilities in metrology, manufacturing technologies and industrial engineering.
