AXISCADES Technologies Limited has announced a strategic agreement with global digital engineering company Akkodis for the divestment of its Aerospace Engineering Services business, marking a major milestone in the company’s long-term transformation strategy. The transaction concludes AXISCADES’ Engineering Services Divestment Program and strengthens its position as a manufacturing and intellectual property-driven enterprise focused on aerospace, defence, space, electronics, semiconductors and artificial intelligence.

The deal will be executed in two phases. Under the first phase, Akkodis will acquire a 51 percent stake in the Aerospace Engineering Services business. The remaining 49 percent stake is expected to be acquired over the next 24 to 30 months. The transaction is subject to applicable regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

The divestment provides AXISCADES with the capital required to execute its ambitious Power 930 growth strategy, a five-year roadmap targeting approximately ₹9,000 crore in revenue and nearly ₹960 crore in profit after tax by FY2030. The proceeds will support both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions across high-growth technology sectors.

Following the completion of the divestment program, AXISCADES will operate through four key business platforms. The first pillar is Aerospace Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul services, supported by the company’s advanced aerospace facilities. This platform will serve global aerospace customers across commercial and dual-use programs.

The second pillar is AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies Private Limited (ACAT), the company’s defence-focused subsidiary. ACAT will drive growth in defence manufacturing, mission-critical electronics and system integration aligned with India’s self-reliance initiatives.

The third pillar is XiDA Inc, a US-based electronics and semiconductor platform focused on AI-driven engineering, semiconductor design enablement and advanced electronic systems. Existing AI and electronics capabilities within AXISCADES will be consolidated under this platform.

The fourth pillar is a newly established Space Division dedicated to satellite bus manufacturing and system integration. The division is expected to become operational during FY27 and will target emerging opportunities in India’s growing commercial space sector.

Dr Sampath Ravi Narayanan, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of AXISCADES, said the transaction positions the company for the next stage of growth by enabling deeper participation in manufacturing-led value chains. He noted that the expertise, customer relationships and industry reputation built through engineering services will now support expansion into aerospace manufacturing and adjacent sectors. The company expects the partnership with Akkodis to create opportunities for customer engagement, technology collaboration and business development while ensuring continuity for existing aerospace engineering customers during the transition period.
