Kellton Tech Solutions has announced the launch of Phoenix.AI, a new AI-driven modernization platform designed to help enterprises transform legacy software systems into cloud-native microservices architectures significantly faster and at lower operational cost. According to the company, Phoenix.AI is engineered to modernize enterprise legacy environments by automating the entire transformation lifecycle, enabling organizations to accelerate modernization programmes by up to 80% while reducing associated costs by nearly 50%. The platform is designed to support enterprises facing growing technology debt, aging monolithic applications, and increasing pressure to adopt scalable digital infrastructure.
Phoenix.AI combines frontier artificial intelligence capabilities with Kellton’s proprietary modernization framework to automate tasks including system analysis, code decomposition, microservices conversion, remediation, validation, quality assurance, and deployment management. The company stated that the platform operates through an agentic transformation framework capable of continuously learning and optimizing execution throughout the modernization process.
The platform is designed to preserve enterprise-grade governance, operational continuity, and system reliability while significantly reducing manual engineering effort and project timelines traditionally associated with large-scale modernization initiatives.Kellton stated that Phoenix.AI is already being deployed across enterprise engagements and is currently powering one of the company’s largest AI-led code modernization programmes for a global enterprise software provider headquartered in the United States.
The ongoing engagement involves migration of more than four million lines of source code from Progress ABL/OpenEdge systems to a modern Microsoft .NET Core and Entity Framework environment built on scalable cloud-native microservices architecture. The modernization programme spans twelve major business modules covering production, purchasing, sales, common services, and other core enterprise operational functions. The company noted that Phoenix.AI’s built-in execution intelligence and self-correction capabilities improve engineering productivity while accelerating release cycles and strengthening modernization outcomes through accumulated delivery learning.
Niranjan Chintam, Founder and Chairman of Kellton Tech Solutions, said enterprise modernization has historically been constrained by high costs, extended timelines, and operational risks associated with transforming deeply embedded legacy systems. He stated that Phoenix.AI was specifically developed to address these long-standing challenges by embedding AI directly into enterprise engineering and modernization workflows rather than treating it as an external layer.
According to Mr Chintam, the platform significantly reduces transformation complexity while improving modernization speed, predictability, and operational efficiency for large enterprises undergoing digital transformation. The launch of Phoenix.AI represents a strategic shift for Kellton from AI experimentation toward large-scale AI-driven enterprise execution. The company believes the platform positions it strongly in the growing market for AI-led modernization and intelligent automation services as enterprises worldwide accelerate migration toward cloud-native and scalable digital ecosystems.
