As Indian homes, offices, and industrial spaces continue to shrink in size, the demand for products that are compact, durable, and genuinely practical has grown considerably. Consumers today are looking for solutions that match the pace and constraints of modern life tools and equipment that do not occupy permanent space but deliver the same performance as their conventional counterparts. For years, this segment remained largely unorganised. The few modern alternatives available were imported products with no warranties, no after-sales support, and no local accountability. The gap between what buyers needed and what the market offered was significant, and it stayed unaddressed for a long time until a Jaipur-based entrepreneur decided to bridge that gap with Corvids India.

Where the Brand Took Shape

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Corvids India supplies space-saving tools and equipment for both home and industrial use. The company’s catalogue spans aluminium telescopic ladders, folding ladders, multi-purpose ladders, platform trolleys, folding tables and chairs, hand trolleys, caster wheels, and planter and washer stands. Every product is built around the same principle: lightweight, portable, and designed to fold away when not in use.

This focused approach has enabled Corvids India to operate as a trader, wholesaler, and distributor, selling through its own platform as well as major e-commerce channels, where it is listed among the top sellers. The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and its products meet international standards including EN 131 and CE, which enables it to serve large corporate clients such as Tata Power Solar, GAIL, Doordarshan, and Saint-Gobain, alongside individual households across the country.

The Engineer Who Chose a Different Path

Behind this venture is Rasank Singhal, Founder and CEO, who holds a B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar. Rather than moving directly into entrepreneurship, he spent three to four years in the corporate sector, managing administration, procurement, and sales. That period gave him a practical understanding of how businesses function and shaped his interest in sales and marketing. He returned to Jaipur with clear direction, and an early encounter with aluminium telescopic ladders far lighter and more compact than traditional wooden ladders made him realise that a whole category of better-designed, space-efficient products was waiting to be brought to Indian consumers in a credible way.

What he found through market research confirmed the opportunity: virtually every modern ladder available in India was imported, with no warranty or meaningful after-sales service. The market was active but entirely without accountability. He also identified a longer-term trend: homes and workplaces were getting progressively smaller, which meant the need for space-efficient products would only grow stronger over time.

A Warranty Where There Was None

Armed with these insights, Corvids India entered the market with a differentiated offer: a two-year warranty across its full product range, when no competitor provided one. The company also committed to lifelong service support, ensuring customers could reach out for spare parts, maintenance, or guidance well beyond the warranty period. This level of after-sales accountability was rare in the segment and quickly became the brand’s defining strength.

This customer-first approach built strong trust and generated consistent word-of-mouth referrals, which became the company’s primary growth engine. The entire operation runs from a single headquarters in Jaipur with a lean team of approximately 25 employees, structured across in-house sales, digital marketing, and warehouse and logistics. This operational discipline has supported a 30 per cent year-on-year growth rate sustained over five consecutive years.

The Next Chapter: Homes, Lifestyle, and Beyond

Building on this momentum, Corvids India is now preparing to expand into a new range of home, lifestyle, and furniture products, planned for launch within the next six months. This collection will follow the same design philosophy: functional, portable products built to save space without compromising on quality or durability. The move represents a natural extension rather than a shift in direction, as the broader opportunity remains compelling residential and commercial spaces across India continue to reduce in footprint, which means demand for compact and versatile utility products will only keep rising.

This is a structural change in how people live and work, and Corvids India has been positioning itself to address this shift from the beginning. Rasank Singhal and his team see this next phase as the most significant period of growth in the company’s history, and they are moving into it with clear plans and strong conviction.
