Bajel Projects Limited, a prominent engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company in the power transmission sector, has announced the award of two major international contracts from a client based in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The combined value of these contracts places them in the ultra-mega category, exceeding ₹400 crore.

The scope of work includes the construction of two contiguous sections of a 500 kV overhead transmission line. This development forms part of a large-scale national grid enhancement initiative designed to reinforce high-voltage transmission infrastructure across the MENA region. The project is expected to play a critical role in enabling efficient power evacuation and meeting rising electricity demand driven by economic growth and industrial expansion.

Commenting on the development, Rajesh Ganesh, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bajel Projects Limited, stated that the order represents a significant milestone for the company’s international business. He noted that the award reflects strong confidence in Bajel’s engineering expertise, execution capabilities, and track record in delivering complex high-voltage projects. He added that the company is committed to executing the project with a strong focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.

This latest win strengthens Bajel Projects’ position as a reliable EPC partner in the global power transmission segment. It also adds momentum to the company’s expanding presence in international markets, particularly within the MENA region. Bajel has been steadily building its footprint in the region, supported in part by its joint venture with the Al Sharif Group in Saudi Arabia.
