Behind the mother figure, the authoritative engineering designer with a passion towards manufacturing, leads Creintors Automation. Disha Chougule gets thrilled whenever a machine is developed from paper to reality. She believes it’s the art of creation that drives her everyday to the factory. And who else can be more Creators than Women?

Disha did her Masters into Mechantronics, Robotics and Automation and was into IT industry in her early career. She entered into the manufacturing world in 2015. What’s impressive is her strong passion, which not only propelled Disha but also the Creintors Group of Industries to success.

Starting with just one company, the group now has three. Disha isn’t just leading the group; she is also showing that women can excel in the competitive world of innovation. Her story is all about determination, flexibility, and a never-ending drive for excellence in manufacturing.

Creintors Group of Companies comprises three entities, each specializing in distinct fields to meet customer needs: Creintors Teknosol Private Limited, focusing on Hydraulic Presses, Valve Test-Rigs and specialized machines; Creintors Environmental Solutions Private Limited, addressing environmental concerns with water treatment solutions; and Creintors Automation Solutions Private Limited, Disha’s domain, dedicated to automation systems from insert management to robotics.

Starting in 2015, Disha’s transition into the manufacturing sector was unexpected, prompted by a chance encounter with a small-scale industry facing storage challenges for cutting tools. Collaborating with her husband, Neelesh Chougule, who initiated Creintors Teknosol, they envisioned a solution-driven approach to automation, marking the beginning of their journey.

However, Disha’s rise was not without challenges. With a background in electronics, navigating the complexities of mechanical design posed initial difficulties. Yet, driven by a strong passion for innovation and a firm determination to succeed, she embraced the learning process, transitioning smoothly into her role as a product engineer.

Disha recalls her early days, struggling with the demands of familial responsibilities alongside the hurdles of the manufacturing landscape. The pressures of managing a household and nurturing her two children contrasted with the demands of leading a growing company tested her strength and determination.

In addition to that, Disha shared, “Initially, it was tough for me to cope up with the mechanical aspects of manufacturing, coming from a different background. But my husband’s expertise in mechanical engineering and his constant support were crucial in helping me overcome those challenges.”

Despite the challenges, Disha’s commitment to excellence never fluctuated. From managing teams to interacting with customers and improving her technical skills, every obstacle became a stepping stone towards personal and professional growth. Disha’s vision for the future is bold yet inspiring.

She envisions elevating Creintors into an international brand, advocating for greater female representation in the workforce, and providing training and opportunities for female workers. Her dedication to inclusivity and diversity resonates through her efforts, nurturing an environment where talent knows no gender boundaries.

Furthermore, Disha’s groundbreaking work on the Insert and Tool Management System (ITMS) stands as a proof to her innovation. Designed to streamline the storage and delivery of cutting tools for CNC vending machines, the ITMS revolutionized efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Over a span of three years, Disha worked on its development, ensuring precision and reliability in every aspect. Currently, Creintors offers around 8 to 10 varieties of ITMS. Disha emphasized, “The ITMS was born out of a necessity to address the challenges faced by industries in storing inserts. It’s not just about storing tools; it’s about safeguarding their integrity and ensuring optimal performance.”

Disha’s passion for engineering shines through her joy in witnessing machines come to life from mere ideas on paper. “When you design a machine from scratch, seeing it built and functioning according to your vision is incredibly fulfilling,” she explained.

Disha’s journey has not solely been about overcoming challenges or achieving milestones; it has been about finding joy and fulfillment in the act of creation. Her passion for engineering extends beyond the limits of necessity; it is a source of inspiration that drives her forward, motivating her to push the boundaries of innovation and excellence.
