Three dorm roommates from Lovely Professional University Rajesh Kumar, John David and Prakash Varma decided to tackle the problem of increasing air pollution and guess what idea they came up with? A startup that built smart electric vehicles for the masses.
This journey started long back during the graduation when the squad started working on various projects and buildup a strong technical foundation that would help them during their journey at Atom Motors. Devender adding as the fourth member of the management team, Atom Motors is on its way to bring revolutionary changes in Smart and Ecofriendly Mobility.
Talking to Machine Maker, the founders John David, Chief Marketing Officer and Rajesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer shared their fantastic journey of building Atom Motors. Working day and night to overcome the challenges and finding solutions to build trust towards EV industry in India, John David CMO of Atom Motors, says it was a tough journey but not an impossible one.
The initiative got a great motivation when the trio landed up as a runner up in a startup competition organized by startup School of Lovely Professional University which fueled up their passion to built electric vehicles. “After graduating, we shifted our base to Guntur, Andhra Pradesh where we dedicated next two years of our life to building smart sensible electric cycles”, adds John.
