R K Agrawal, the visionary founder of Eastern Recuperators was also present in the stall where he shared his thoughts on the ongoing Thermprocess 2023, “I am here at this fair, but I have come many times, and there is a change in the manufacturing world. The way people are spending money on creating elaborate stands has transformed, and the type of attendees has evolved as well. Earlier, people showed little concern for fuel costs and the impact it had on their businesses. Recuperators gained widespread recognition and adoption as the demand for energy-saving solutions increased. The cost of fuel played a crucial role in the overall expenses of heating metals and other industrial processes. Previously, the chairman of the company would delegate representatives to attend, but now the chairman himself is present, indicating a significant shift in the industry.”
Sustainable Growth through WHRS
Eastern Recuperators, being in the industry for more than four decades now, have come a long way in the Waste Heat Recovery sector. The company, with over four thousand plus installations all over the planet, is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of recuperators. Their expertise lies in efficiently cooling flue gas that enters bag houses and electrostatic precipitators, swiftly reducing the temperature from 1400 degree C, within 4-5 seconds. This rapid cooling process effectively prevents dust and pollution from being released into the atmosphere. At Thermprocess 2023, Eastern Recuperators exhibited their core equipment i.e. recuperators, Gas Coolers and Gas heaters , under the theme ‘Leading Developments in Recuperators’. The company has demonstrated the capability to achieve a remarkable 40 percent reduction in fuel consumption while effectively reutilizing 85 percent of waste gas temperature . Eastern Recuperators’ solutions enable significant cost savings. In the long term, this makes a huge difference in the end-customer’s production cost. This year it marked our fifth consecutive year of attendance. In the past, there used to be a notion that Indian IT computer engineers were skilled, but their engineering capabilities were lacking. The recognition and acceptance we receive today demonstrate a shift in perception. Being Indian is now acknowledged, especially over the past 15 to 20 years, as a contributing factor to our success.”
