Arabelle Solutions, part of the EDF Group and a market leader in nuclear turbine island technology and services, is participating in the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, bringing its global expertise to the forefront of India’s evolving energy landscape.  Built on decades of industrial excellence, Arabelle Solutions’ teams design, manufacture and upgrade some of the world’s most advanced equipment needed to produce low-carbon electricity from nuclear power.

The company’s participation comes at a pivotal moment for India’s nuclear sector. With the Government of India setting an ambitious target of 100 GW of nuclear power capacity by 2047, recent policy developments, including the introduction of the SHANTI Bill and amendments to the Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage framework, are paving the way for increased private sector participation and deeper engagement from the global supply chain. As new stakeholders such as private power producers, policymakers, and infrastructure developers enter the nuclear ecosystem, Arabelle Solutions aims to leverage the summit as a platform to engage with them and showcase its capabilities and established presence in India.

At the summit, Arabelle Solutions will present its comprehensive turbine island portfolio, encompassing steam turbines, generators, heat exchangers, and pumps. These solutions draw on global project experience while being aligned with the specific requirements of the Indian market, supporting a wide spectrum of nuclear capacities ranging from 220 MW to 700 MW for the domestic program  to 1000MW and above for the  international program and emerging small modular reactor technologies ranging from 55MW to 220MW. The company has played a significant role in India’s nuclear journey by supplying Turbine Generators starting with India’s first nuclear plant at Tarapur and covering almost all plants of NPCIL directly or indirectly through Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, its technology and business partner.

Strengthening its commitment to localisation, Arabelle Solutions operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat, where it is currently producing  700 MW Turbines for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited projects, including the Gorakhpur and Kaiga plants. With a strong emphasis on sourcing raw materials and sub-components locally, the facility contributes meaningfully to the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative while enhancing supply chain resilience.

Arabelle Solutions also relies on its Noida Engineering Centre, one of its key hubs of expertise. With more than 100 experts, the centre covers a wide range of disciplines, including product design, mechanical engineering, and control and electrical integration. It provides essential support to projects carried out in India.

A defining strength of Arabelle Solutions lies in its diverse workforce, with a strong presence of women engineers across functions. This diversity brings varied perspectives, challenges conventional approaches, and fosters innovation. As the nuclear sector evolves, such inclusive teams are playing an increasingly important role in driving forward-thinking engineering solutions.

Through its participation at the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, Arabelle Solutions is looking to engage with the next wave of stakeholders entering the nuclear space, particularly private sector players transitioning from thermal power. By showcasing its technological depth, global experience, and strong local footprint, the company aims to position itself to support India’s ambitious nuclear expansion plans.

“India is entering a transformative phase in nuclear energy, and Arabelle Solutions is committed to supporting this growth with our global expertise and strong local presence. The summit provides an important platform to engage with emerging stakeholders and contribute to a future-ready nuclear ecosystem,” said Tarun Gugnani, Director Sales – India at Arabelle Solutions.
