Pune, renowned as India’s automotive heart and innovation hub, is set to host the country’s most prominent electric vehicle exhibition, the “India International EV Show (IIEV).” The third edition of this event will take place from December 1-3, 2023, at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre in Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune. The IIEV Pune edition, organised by the Futurex Group, is expected to be inaugurated by Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar. This significant occasion will draw key dignitaries and leaders from the electric vehicle industry, marking a pivotal moment in sustainable mobility. IIEV 2023 will feature over 200 exhibitors and is anticipated to attract more than 20,000 visitors from India and abroad. With a diverse range of over 3000 products and services, the exhibition will host around 7000 dealers, distributors, and franchise networks.

The event promises 30+ new product launches, highlighting its status as a centre for innovation and networking in the EV sector. India’s EV market is rapidly expanding, with a projected CAGR of 94.4% by 2030. This growth is underscored by Pune’s leading role in EV research and production, making the city an ideal venue for the IIEV. The event will feature various sessions, panel discussions, and opportunities for attendees to engage with EV experts and explore the latest in electric transportation.

“India’s electric vehicle sector has evolved from a niche market into a rapidly growing industry, capturing nationwide interest,” said Namit Gupta, Director of the Futurex Group. He highlighted the presence of around 2.8 million EVs on Indian roads and emphasised the industry’s potential for staggering growth, with a projected 94.4% CAGR by 2030. Gupta’s statement reflects the inevitable shift towards electric vehicles in India and the country’s dedication to achieving a sustainable future.

The India International EV Show (IIEV) 2023, organised by Futurex Group, is a joint venture with Globe-Tech Media and enjoys strong backing from prestigious entities like ARAI, ICAT, IESA, SCGJ, and IIT-Mumbai.
