LMW’s CNC Innovations Empowers Kolhapur Foundry: Unviels J2 & LTV 40 at IFFE Expo 2024

LMW Limited (formerly Lakshmi Machine Works Limited), a trusted name in CNC machinery manufacturing, captivated visitors at the IFFE EXPO 2024 with the unveiling of its latest innovations—the LTV 40—Vertical Turning Center and J2—Vertical Machining Center.

The third edition of Kolhapur’s prominent exhibition on Foundry, Forging and Machine Tools – IFFE Expo 2024 was held near JP Industrial Park from November 10 to 12, 2024. The event witnessed LMW Limited strengthen its connection with Kolhapur’s vibrant foundry and automotive industry. At the show, Sachin Patil, Regional Sales Manager of LMW, emphasized Kolhapur’s strategic importance to the company. “Kolhapur is a significant hub for LMW, with over 1,100 installations empowering local manufacturers. The introduction of the LTV 40 and J2  reflects our commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions tailored to the region’s industrial needs,” he said.

During the event, Siva Arvinth, President of LMW’s Machine Tool Division, shared insights into the company’s focus on understanding customer challenges. LMW’s stall became a focal point as Shashank Joshi, Zonal Head of the Machine Tool Division, provided detailed demonstrations of the showcased products. The LTV 40, designed for high-performance turning, boasts an 8-station hydraulic turret, 600 mm turning diameter, and an A2-11 spindle, making it ideal for manufacturing brake discs, hubs, and similar components.

The J2 machine features inline spindles with speeds up to 8,000 rpm, a 24-tool ATC, and a rigid structure, delivering enhanced performance in job shops and industrial applications. Shashank Joshi commented about these innovations, “The LTV 40 and J2 VMC combine productivity, precision, and space optimization, making them game changers for industries seeking compact yet powerful machining solutions.”
