Innovative Breakthroughs in Metalworking Recognized at AMB Awards 2024

The AMB 2024 Awards celebrated outstanding achievements in metalworking, with six winners and two special sustainability prizes announced during the prestigious event. Held from September 10 to 12, 2024, on the AMB Stage at Messe Stuttgart, the awards highlighted the best products and innovations showcased at the trade fair, reflecting the latest advancements in the metalworking industry.

A distinguished, impartial jury—comprising members from key industry organizations and academia—evaluated the entries, ensuring an expert and objective assessment. The winners of the AMB Award 2024 are as follows:

  • goCAD GmbH in the Software & Digitalization category for its “Online shop for CNC contract manufacturers”
  • Liquidtool Systems AG in the Components, Assemblies, and Operating Materials category for its “Automatic cooling lubricant management”
  • Mahr GmbH in the Measuring Technology & Quality Assurance category for “Roughness measurement directly in the CNC machine”
  • HAINBUCH GmbH in the Precision Tools category for its “Mandrel”
  • Sodick Deutschland GmbH in the Machine Tools and Manufacturing Facilities category for “Wire erosion with the iGroove+ rotation system”
  • exoIQ GmbH in the Automation and Handling Technologies category for its “Active exoskeleton”

Additionally, two special Sustainability Awards were given to:

  • VITO AG for its “Cooling lubricant filter”
  • CERATIZIT S.A. for its “Carbide cutter made from secondary raw materials”

AMB, one of the world’s leading metalworking trade fairs since 1982, continues to be the foremost platform for showcasing cutting-edge developments in the sector. The event, which draws attention from across the global industry, is organized with the support of the VDMA Precision Tools Association, the VDMA Software and Digitalization Association, and the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW). The next edition of AMB will be held in September 2026.
