The Great Diecasting Technology Forum (GDC Tech Forum) will convene India’s aluminium die-casting community from December 4–6, 2025, at Hotel Orchid in Pune under the banner “Transforming Die Casting Through Innovation.” As the country’s premier platform for die-casting excellence, the GDC Tech Forum brings together equipment manufacturers, materials suppliers, toolmakers, and end-users to foster collaboration and share cutting-edge practices that drive the industry forward.
Over three days, the Mega Event will deliver a rich programme of technical paper presentations and panel discussions on topics such as AI-driven process optimisation, digital-twin mould design, and predictive maintenance. In partnership with the International Magnesium Association (IMA) of the United States, the forum will also host a dedicated Conference on Magnesium Die Casting, exploring advancements in lightweight alloys and global market applications. Running alongside the conference, an exhibition spanning 3,000 sqm will showcase the latest high-pressure die-casting machines, automation cells, auxiliary equipment, and material innovations to over 3,000 expected visitors.

“Innovation is the lifeblood of our industry,” said R T Kulkarni, Managing Director of Arkey Conference, the event organiser. “By convening visionaries in AI, materials science, and manufacturing automation, we aim to chart a roadmap for India’s die-casting sector to leapfrog into the next era of productivity and sustainability. Pune’s vibrant industrial ecosystem provides the perfect backdrop to spark collaborations that will redefine what’s possible.”
Established to cultivate “a truly world-class die casting industry in India,” GDC Tech Forum’s purpose is to enhance the sector’s capabilities by disseminating the latest knowledge and skills in die-casting technologies and quality practices. Through seminars, technical training, industrial visits, and member forums, it informs participants of the best commercial and management practices, facilitates buyer-seller interactions, and conducts programmes to attract and train the next generation of die-casters. By sharing case studies and new market developments, the Forum ensures that its members remain at the forefront of global industry trends.
To achieve its mission, GDC Tech Forum adopts a dual “inside-out” and “outside-in” strategy: engaging internal chapters and committee members to pilot high-impact programmes, while simultaneously inviting feedback and participation from the wider membership. The Forum shortlists and implements the most successful initiatives, conducts regular member surveys to refine offerings, and leverages digital platforms alongside partnerships with other industry associations to maximise knowledge-sharing. A key focus remains on developing a young leadership cadre to sustain continuous improvement in India’s die-casting ecosystem.
Beyond the live sessions and exhibition, GDC Tech Forum maintains an active online community on LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, where members exchange insights on talent development, supply-chain resilience, and sustainability initiatives year-round.
