Frost & Sullivan IMEA 2019 showers 35 Awards to Indian Manufacturing industries

16^th Edition of India Manufacturing Excellence Awards (IMEA) 2019 was held in Mumbai, conceptualized “to recognize Indian Manufacturing capability and assess its global competitiveness”. At this event, Indian manufacturing companies were acknowledged for their breakthrough business models and strategies that resulted in transformational innovation and growth. Reliance Industries Limited was awarded “Indian Corporate of the Year 2019”, where Hyundai Motor India Limited’s Irungattukottai facility won the “Indian Manufacturer of the Year Award 2019”.

Raghavendra Rao, Associate Partner & Senior Vice President-Frost & Sullivan, remarked, “To survive in the future, companies must be flexible to manufacture in an environment of fluctuating demand. They must be lean, mean, and nimble for the insulation of stakeholders from demand variability. The industry faces the hurdles of technology disruptions that are affecting the scenario.
