The India International Industrial Expo 2024 is poised for a grand return in Kochi, Kerala, with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan set to inaugurate the event on December 13th. The three-day expo, which will run until December 15th, will bring together industry leaders and innovators from across the globe to showcase the latest advancements in industrial technology. This year’s expo, supported by the Ministry of MSME and featuring an array of exhibitors and cutting-edge products, promises to be a pivotal event for fostering industrial growth and innovation.
The India International Industrial Expo 2024 (IIIE-2024), organized by the Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA) and Metro Mart, will take place at the KINFRA International Exhibition Centre, Kochi, from December 13 to 15, 2024. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the event on December 14 at 11 am. Key dignitaries attending the inaugural ceremony include P Rajeeve, Minister for Industries; Mohammed Hanish IAS, Principal Secretary in the Industries Department; G S Prakash, Director-MSME, S Harikishore IAS, MD-KSIDC; Santhosh Koshy Thomas, MD-KINFRA, A Nizarudeen, State President of KSSIA, Joseph Paikada, General Secretary of KSSIA, K P Ramachandran Nair, Chairman of the Expo Organizing Committee, and Siji Nair, CEO of IIIE.
The Union Minister of the MSME Department, Jitan Ram Manjhi, will inaugurate the closing session on December 15. Supported by the Industries and Commerce Department of Kerala, MSME Department of India, K-BIP, KINFRA, and Metro Mart, the Expo will feature over 300 exhibitors, including leading machine manufacturers from Kerala, other states, and abroad. The event aims to advance the Industry 4.0 initiative in Kerala, significantly boosting the state’s industrial growth and fostering its reputation as an industry-friendly destination.
“This landmark event is expected to attract over 10,000 trade visitors, including industry professionals, decision-makers, and potential business partners, offering a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and new ventures,” said A Nizarudeen, State President of KSSIA. “The expo is designed to drive investment into Kerala, making the state a hub for small and medium industries. A comprehensive display of cutting-edge technologies has been curated to support this mission,” said K P Ramchandran Nair, Chairman of the Expo Organizing Committee.
Companies from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and other states will exhibit their machinery in over 250 stalls housed in four air-conditioned pavilions. “This expo will provide entrepreneurs access to global technological expertise,” added Siji Nair, CEO of IIIE. The event will also include seminars, product demonstrations, and exhibits featuring advanced sensors, robotics, and software solutions.
