Gartex Texprocess India, a comprehensive trade show in the garment manufacturing and textile industry, jointly organized by MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, is gearing up for its highly anticipated 3rd Mumbai edition scheduled from February 1-3, 2024, at the Jio World Convention Centre (JWCC) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. With support from the Ministry of Textiles and the Denim Manufacturers Association (DMA), the event is set to empower participating companies, providing substantial benefits to trade visitors and the entire textile value chain.

Gartex Texprocess India, the nation’s one of the premier trade fairs encompassing the entire textile value chain, has consistently drawn attention from international textile companies over the years. Once again, the event is gearing up to showcase innovations within the textile sector, spanning both India and the global landscape. Encompassing an expansive 10,000 sqm, this edition promises captivating displays that underscore new-age machinery, advanced technologies, trending fabrics, and raw materials.

With expectations of over 100 exhibitors, including 30+ new participants, this event is known as the go-to marketplace for textile buyers and sellers. It will showcase innovations across 32 key product categories within the textile realm. Additionally, the co-located Denim Show, Fabrics and Trims Show, and an exclusive zone dedicated to Screen Print India-Textile will highlight the ever-evolving innovations in the textile industry.

With a renewed emphasis on resilient supply chain processes, technological innovations, and sustainable practices, this edition will feature prominent product brands from India, including Alliance Embroidery, Balaji Sewing Machines, DCC, Geminy, Ginni International, Jaysynth, Jeanologia, Lenzing Fibres India, LNJ Denims, Mehala, Raymonds, and True Colors. As per a report by FICCI-Wazir Advisors, the Indian textile and apparel market reached an estimated USD 165 billion in 2022, with the domestic market accounting for USD 125 billion and exports contributing USD 40 billion.

Projections indicate a significant growth trajectory, with the industry’s market size expected to achieve a 10% CAGR, reaching a substantial USD 350 billion by 2030. With robust government initiatives and a heightened focus from manufacturers across various textile product categories, coupled with a strong emphasis on circularity, India is well-positioned on the path to emerge as a global textile manufacturing hub.
