Taiwan Expo 2024 is scheduled to return to India in a big way, this time at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from July 8 to July 10, 2024. This is New Delhi’s first live exhibition since 2019. This year’s expo, which is being hosted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), and International Trade Administration (TITA), is scheduled to feature five major industries: Smart Manufacturing, Smart City, Smart Lifestyle, Wellness Fiesta, and Green Innovations, fostering international trade and partnerships between Taiwan and India.
More than 110 leading Taiwanese manufacturers will participate in the expo, showcasing their products and services at 160 booths across five themes. The event will prominently feature sectors such as agriculture and food, electric vehicles and auto parts, home products, ICT and green products, medical devices, health and personal care, sports and outdoor equipment, and textiles. Special attention will be given to smart city technologies, smart manufacturing, smart lifestyle solutions, wellness initiatives, and green innovations, underscoring Taiwan’s commitment to sustainability and technological advancement.
Attendees can explore dedicated pavilions, including the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, which will showcase award-winning products exemplifying Taiwan’s dedication to quality and innovation. The Smart Cities Pavilion will demonstrate technologies for creating sustainable and intelligent urban environments, while the EV Alliance Pavilion will focus on electric mobility solutions and infrastructure. The Healthcare Pavilion will showcase the latest advancements in medical and healthcare services, while the Meet Taiwan Pavilion will promote Taiwan as a premier destination for business and tourism.
Beyond the business and technological displays, the expo will feature cultural performances, offering attendees a glimpse into Taiwan’s rich heritage. Business meetings and industry forums will provide abundant opportunities for networking and collaboration, strengthening economic ties and opening new avenues for cooperation between Taiwanese and Indian businesses.
