Electric vehicle manufacturer Zuperia Auto Pvt Ltd has ventured into the electric passenger three-wheeler sector, setting an ambitious revenue goal of ₹1,000 crore by 2030. The company, which already operates in the electric rickshaw and three-wheeler markets with its Lohia and Youdha brands, is now eyeing entry into the two-wheeler market within the next two years, under a new brand. CEO Ayush Lohia shared the company’s plans during the launch of the ‘Youdha epod’, a new electric passenger three-wheeler model.

Mr Lohia expressed confidence in driving growth by diversifying product offerings. “Our goal is to achieve ₹1,000 crore in revenue by 2030, across all vehicle categories. The growth will be fueled by both passenger and cargo EVs, along with our e-rickshaw business,” he said.

Last fiscal year, the company sold about 10,000 e-rickshaws. “We aim to sell 3,000 units of the Youdha epod in the remaining months of this fiscal year,” Mr Lohia added, with plans for even higher sales in the coming years.

Priced at ₹2.79 lakh, the Youdha epod will compete with established names like Mahindra, Bajaj, and TVS in the electric three-wheeler L5 category. Looking ahead, Mr Lohia revealed that Zuperia Auto is working on a wider variant of its three-wheeler, designed to carry a driver plus six passengers.

The company also plans to debut in the electric two-wheeler space in two years, but under a distinct brand identity. Zuperia Auto’s production facility in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, has an annual capacity of 100,000 units. Mr Lohia stated that the company aims to operate at 70-80% capacity to meet its 2030 revenue target.
