Ziehl-Abegg, a leader in drive and control technology, held two successful seminars on elevator technology in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in collaboration with Doza Technology. These events offered a look into the latest developments in the elevator industry.

The seminars took place on June 11 in Hanoi and June 13 in Ho Chi Minh City. Each event drew 80 participants, including managing directors, developers, service technicians, and elevator operators. The theme of the seminars was “Reliability and Sustainability in the Elevator Industry with German and Swiss Components.”

Ziehl-Abegg and other manufacturers presented their latest technologies, such as control systems, inverters, motors, traction ropes, sensors, and push-button systems. Key presentations included: the LiSA control system and ZAdyn inverter by Hung Doan and Hoang Doan, the LiFone emergency call system by Hung Doan, sensor-based elevator technology by Alex Ackermann from Cedes and Michael Gubisch from Schaefer and Rope and fastening technology by Michael Döffinger from Pfeifer Drako.

The seminars also featured practical examples and discussions on handling PMS elevator machines and elevator ropes, led by Stephan Allwermann from Pfeifer Drako and Dieter Rieger from Ziehl-Abegg. Participants had the chance to exchange ideas during breaks and in a final group discussion. “The seminars were a great way to showcase our latest innovations and get direct feedback from users. The response was very positive,” said Dieter Rieger, who opened the event in Ho Chi Minh City.

These events highlight Ziehl-Abegg’s role as a leader and reliable partner in the elevator industry. The high turnout and positive feedback show strong interest in their innovative solutions from Germany and Switzerland.
