Zen Technologies Secures Patent for Infantry Virtual Training Simulation System

Zen Technologies Limited has been awarded an Indian patent for its Infantry Virtual Training Simulation System (IVTSS), a virtual training tool for military personnel. The patent, valid until December 2042, is the company’s 19th patent this year and 9th in the current financial year.

At 2:25 pm today, Zen Technologies’ shares were trading at ₹1,716, up by ₹6.80 or 0.40% on the NSE. The IVTSS provides a realistic virtual environment for various military training scenarios, including small arms usage, tactical decision-making, and mortar detachment exercises.

One of its standout features is a tactical training module designed for mortar detachments, which aids in target selection and engagement. This latest patent strengthens Zen’s growing portfolio of defense innovations, including the Tactical Engagement Simulator (TacSim) range. The company, which has more than 30 years of experience, has filed over 155 patents, with more than 75 granted to date.
