Zen Technologies Limited, a leading Indian defence training and simulation solutions provider, has received defence orders aggregating to INR 4.04 billion for the supply of counter-drone systems and advanced simulation equipment. The contracts have been awarded by Indian defence and security forces, reinforcing the company’s position as a key domestic supplier of critical defence technologies.
The newly secured orders cover the design, manufacture and delivery of counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) solutions as well as a range of training simulators used for combat readiness and operational preparedness. These systems are intended to enhance situational awareness, threat detection and response capabilities across multiple defence and security applications.
The counter-drone systems included in the orders are designed to detect, identify, track and neutralise hostile drones in sensitive and high-security environments. With the increasing use of unmanned aerial vehicles in asymmetric warfare and border security scenarios, such systems are becoming an essential component of modern defence infrastructure. Zen Technologies’ solutions are based on indigenous design and development, aligning with India’s emphasis on self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
In addition to counter-drone systems, the contracts include orders for simulators that support training across land-based defence platforms. Zen’s simulation solutions are used to replicate real-world operational conditions, enabling armed forces to train personnel in a safe, controlled and cost-effective environment. The simulators are designed to improve decision-making, coordination and mission effectiveness while reducing dependence on live training exercises.
Execution of the orders is scheduled over the coming quarters, in line with customer delivery timelines. The company stated that it has the manufacturing capacity and technical resources in place to meet the requirements within the stipulated schedules.
Zen Technologies has been expanding its portfolio of defence solutions, with a focus on indigenous development, innovation and export potential. The company has supplied training simulators and systems to the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, paramilitary forces and international customers. Its product range includes weapon simulators, driving simulators, anti-drone systems and integrated training solutions.
The latest orders add to Zen Technologies’ existing order book and are expected to provide revenue visibility over the medium term. The company continues to engage with domestic and global customers for new opportunities across defence and homeland security segments.
Headquartered in Hyderabad, Zen Technologies Limited operates dedicated research, development and manufacturing facilities in India. The company remains focused on supporting defence preparedness through technology-driven training and security solutions, while contributing to the broader objectives of strengthening India’s domestic defence manufacturing ecosystem.
