Zelio launches X Men Low-Speed Electric Scooter

Indian electric two-wheeler start-up Zelio Ebikes has launched its new X Men low-speed electric scooter range. These scooters are not related to the comic book series and are priced between ₹64,543 and ₹87,573 (ex-showroom). Riders do not need a driving license to use these low-speed scooters.

Prices and Battery Options:

The entry-level model is priced at ₹64,543 and comes with a 60V/32AH lead-acid battery, offering a range of 55-60 km on a single charge with a charging time of 7-8 hours. The mid variant costs ₹67,073 and features a 72V/32AH lead-acid battery, providing a range of 70 km and a charging time of 7-9 hours. The top variant, priced at ₹87,673, is equipped with a 60V/32AH lithium-ion battery, delivering an extended range of 80 km with a faster charging time of 4 hours.

The scooters have a 60/72V BLDC motor, consuming about 1.5 units of electricity per charge, with a top speed of 25 kmph. They weigh 80 kg and can carry up to 180 kg. Five variants are available with different battery configurations.

Features:

The vehicle is equipped with various advanced features including an anti-theft alarm, front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, and an alloy front wheel. It also comes with a reverse gear, parking switch, auto repair switch, and USB charging. Additional features include hydraulic shock absorbers, a digital instrument console, and central locking for enhanced safety and convenience. The X Men scooters are available in four colors: Black, White, Sea Green, and Red.

The X Men range joins Zelio’s Gracy series, which includes the Gracyi, Gracy Pro, and Gracy+ models, with prices starting from ₹59,273 to ₹83,073 (ex-showroom). Zelio manufactures these scooters at its Hisar, Haryana facility, with a production capacity of 1.5 lakh vehicles per shift.
