Commenting on ZELIO’s entry into the e-rickshaw market, Kunal Arya, Co-Founder and Managing Director, stated that the growing demand for affordable and eco-friendly transportation solutions like e-rickshaws drove the company’s decision. These vehicles are increasingly used for last-mile connectivity in urban and semi-urban regions, and ZELIO plans to leverage its electric two-wheeler expertise to enhance this segment. The company is also working on establishing a dedicated dealership network to offer tailored services and support for e-rickshaw owners.
Along with the Tanga e-rickshaw models, ZELIO also showcased its range of low-speed electric two-wheelers, such as the GRACY, Eeva, and X-Men series. The latest upgrades, including the X-Men 2.0 and the high-speed Mystery electric scooter, received positive attention for their design and performance.
Since its launch, ZELIO Ebikes has established over 256 dealerships across India and served more than 200,000 customers. The company aims to expand its dealership network to 400 by March 2025, continuing its growth in the electric vehicle market.
