ZEISS, a leading provider of measurement solutions, has inaugurated its first Quality Excellence Center (QEC) in Gujarat, marking the company’s sixth such facility in India. This expansion highlights ZEISS’s commitment to supporting India’s rapidly growing manufacturing sector by offering state-of-the-art quality assurance solutions and technical expertise in proximity to key industrial hubs.

Gujarat, with its robust industrial landscape, has become a hub for manufacturing, automotive, electric vehicles, medical, and engineering sectors. As the ‘Make in India’ initiative gains momentum and the demand for high-precision manufacturing increases, this new ZEISS center will play a pivotal role in helping businesses achieve top-tier quality standards.

Aveen Padmaprabha, Head of Industrial Quality Solutions at ZEISS India Pvt. Ltd., commented, “The opening of the ZEISS Quality Excellence Center in Ahmedabad aligns with India’s goal of becoming a global manufacturing leader. This new center will provide advanced metrology solutions, application engineering expertise, and hands-on training to help industries optimize their quality control processes and enhance efficiency.”

“Every measurement and analysis conducted here will have a significant impact across various industries, including Automotive, Medical, Electronics, and Electric Vehicles (EV). Our goal is to pursue excellence at every level for our customers, from minute details to their most ambitious goals,” added Aveen Padmaprabha.

The new center is equipped with ZEISS’s cutting-edge coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), optical 3D scanners, and surface measurement systems. It will offer comprehensive services such as product demonstrations, training, application support, and consultations to help manufacturers optimize inspection workflows and maintain the highest quality standards.

This new facility is part of ZEISS’s broader strategy to expand its industrial quality solutions across India. With this move, ZEISS aims to make advanced metrology technology and expertise more accessible, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in industrial quality assurance. The opening follows the successful establishment of similar centers in other key industrial regions of India.

Through this expansion, ZEISS India’s Industrial Quality Solutions division will continue to support manufacturers across Gujarat and the broader Indian market with precision measurement solutions that foster innovation, reliability, and efficiency in mass production. The new ZEISS Quality Excellence Center offers a wide range of key services and technologies, including dimensional measurement and inspection, surface and form measurement, material analysis, and reverse engineering. In addition, the center provides comprehensive training and support to help manufacturers optimize their processes and ensure the highest quality standards.
