Wipro Limited, a global technology services and consulting company, has signed an agreement to acquire the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit of HARMAN, a Samsung company. This acquisition marks a significant step in Wipro’s strategy to enhance its engineering research and development (ER&D) services and expand its presence in key markets.

As part of the deal, more than 5,600 employees, including senior leadership from DTS, across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, will join Wipro. The transaction is currently pending regulatory approvals and is expected to be finalized by December 31, 2025.

Srini Pallia, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Wipro, stated “Bringing DTS into our fold represents a major milestone in Wipro’s transformation journey. Their deep engineering expertise and market experience, combined with our consulting strengths, will greatly enhance what we offer our clients. DTS has a strong foothold in fast-growing industries and regions, aligning well with our own global strategy. As part of this transaction, Wipro will also enter into a long-term strategic agreement with both HARMAN and Samsung, further deepening collaboration across engineering and technology development initiatives.
