Wipro Infrastructure Engineering’s hydraulic cylinder manufacturing division, Wipro Hydraulics, has acquired Columbus Hydraulics, a US-based hydraulic cylinder manufacturer established in 1952. Columbus Hydraulics is well-known for its custom hydraulic solutions for agriculture, construction, turf maintenance, and marine applications.
Regarding the acquisition, Pratik Kumar, CEO of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering and Managing Director of Wipro Enterprises, stated, “Wipro Hydraulics, as a top hydraulic cylinder manufacturer, has made significant strides in various growth markets. This acquisition will bolster our presence and boost our manufacturing capabilities in North America. By combining with Columbus Hydraulics, known for its custom hydraulic solutions, we plan to offer a more comprehensive range of products to our customers.”
