Wipro Limited, a global leader in technology services and consulting, has collaborated with FORVIA, the seventh-largest automotive technology supplier, to optimize FORVIA’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) applications. Utilizing Wipro Engineering Edge’s Cloud Car platform, including microservices and vehicle container architecture components, FORVIA has significantly enhanced its vehicle safety and comfort solutions.

This transformation has enabled FORVIA’s ADAS applications to become largely hardware-independent, reducing maintenance costs and ensuring seamless integration with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). The updated cloud-native architecture also allows FORVIA to offer its ADAS features as modular, standalone functions or combine them with third-party systems, boosting flexibility and marketability.

One standout innovation is FORVIA’s surround-view technology, which stitches together camera feeds to create a 3D perspective, helping drivers park more safely and efficiently. The shift to a microservices-based architecture has also reduced software development lifecycle costs while enabling scalable and competitive solutions.

Graziella Neuvéglise, Regional Head & Managing Director, Southern Europe at Wipro, stated, “This project underscores our expertise in Software Defined Vehicle engineering and our ability to redefine safety and comfort features for automotive leaders like FORVIA. We look forward to continuing this partnership.”

Vanessa Picron, Vice President of Electronics Europe Division at FORVIA, added, “Moving to microservices and container architecture strengthens our ability to deliver competitive, easily integrated solutions to customers while opening new opportunities for software-only safety features. This partnership with Wipro exemplifies our shared vision and expertise.”

FORVIA, formed through the integration of Faurecia and HELLA, operates across 40+ countries with 260 industrial sites and 78 R&D centers, employing over 150,000 people. In 2023, FORVIA reported consolidated revenue of €27.25 billion and continues to lead innovation in mobility solutions.

Wipro Limited, with over 230,000 employees across 65 countries, delivers cutting-edge technology solutions, enabling clients to navigate complex digital transformations and build sustainable, future-ready businesses.
