WIKA Instruments India Pvt Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Quality Council of India (QCI) at an event held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. This event was part of the official MSME Day celebrations organized by the Government of India. The initiative aims to strengthen the capabilities of MSMEs across the country by promoting quality standards and operational competitiveness.
The signing took place in the presence of the Hon’ble President of India, Droupadi Murmu, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Hon’ble Minister for MSMEs, along with senior representatives from the Ministry of MSME, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), and other key institutions. Gaurav Bawa, Senior Vice President at WIKA India, represented the company during a panel discussion that how quality‑focused efforts can help improve the performance of small and medium‑sized enterprises (MSMEs).”
This strategic MoU is aligned with the government’s focus on programs like the ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) Certification and the MSME Competitive LEAN Scheme. The collaboration was listed among the government’s key national partnerships announced on the day, underlining WIKA’s ongoing efforts to contribute meaningfully to the growth and sustainability of India’s MSME sector.
