Whirlpool of India, a key player in the country’s home appliance sector and part of the Whirlpool Corporation, has launched its latest high-end refrigerator line — the Lapis Grandé Collection. This new range combines the visual appeal of natural materials with advanced refrigeration features, offering consumers a blend of elegant design and efficient performance. Drawing from the beauty of natural stones, the collection integrates organic textures with modern finishes to create an appliance that goes beyond utility and becomes a style centerpiece in contemporary kitchens.

According to Nakul Tewari, Vice President of Marketing at Whirlpool India, this new series is about more than just refrigeration. “We’ve designed Lapis Grandé to serve as a statement in design, offering both intuitive technology and visual sophistication,” he said, emphasizing the brand’s focus on harmonizing aesthetics with innovation.

The Lapis Grandé line is available in two finishes, each telling its own visual story. The Cavestone design, inspired by ancient volcanic rock, presents a bold, textured look that speaks to endurance and natural transformation. On the other hand, Jade Marble reflects calmness and grace, with its flowing patterns evoking a mix of strength and tranquility. Both finishes feature a durable glass surface that is simple to maintain and resistant to scratches, ensuring long-term beauty.

These designs do more than elevate visual appeal—they transform the refrigerator into a focal point in the kitchen. Whether chosen for its raw, rugged aesthetic or its smooth, marble-like grace, each model brings a natural, high-end feel to modern homes. Whirlpool positions this range as a fusion of natural artistry and intelligent engineering.

Beyond aesthetics, the Lapis Grandé collection is packed with features that make daily use more flexible and health-focused. A standout offering is its status as India’s fastest convertible refrigerator, allowing users to switch the freezer to fridge mode in just over ten minutes—ideal for households needing versatile storage space.

Consumers can choose from 10 convertible modes tailored to different needs and occasions, providing practical and customizable options. Whirlpool has also incorporated Microblock Technology to help inhibit bacterial growth by up to 99%, supporting cleaner storage and food safety.

Another key innovation in this series is Whirlpool’s 6th Sense Nutrilock Technology, which is designed to retain essential nutrients in stored food, extending vitamin life by up to twice as long compared to standard refrigeration. This helps ensure that fruits and vegetables remain fresher and more nutritious for longer periods.

The Lapis Grandé refrigerators are available in two capacities — 327 liters and 308 liters — with pricing starting at INR 40,500. These models will be accessible through major retail outlets as well as online shopping platforms, giving customers the flexibility to choose how they shop. Headquartered in Gurugram, Whirlpool of India continues to be a significant name in the country’s appliance industry. With manufacturing facilities in Faridabad, Pondicherry, and Pune, the company remains committed to delivering advanced
