Wenglor Sensoric the German manufacturer with an experience of three decades in offering innovative contactless object detection products are launching its laser sensor series “der wintec” in India. The launch scheduled on 25th February 2021 will be held at Kyriad Hotel at Chinchwad, Pune. Apart from the launch, the one-day long program is planned with training programs, live demo of Wenglor sensoric products, and application discussions.
For over ten years, Long-Range Laser Distance Sensors with Wintec has played an important role in countless industries. The new generation of these sensors once again sets a standard in terms of precision, performance, interference immunity, communication capability and robustness. The sensor has the ability to detect objects regardless of colour, gloss, surface texture and inclination angle.

“I along with a Wenglor India Team of six will be present all through the day to share the benefits of the new launch der wintec laser sensors. We also will put live demonstrations, for which we invite people from the manufacturing sector to come and attend this program”, informed Aniket Sawant, Country Head, Wenglor Sensoric India Pvt Ltd.
The latest Wintec generation utilizes “Dynamic Sensitivity” (DS) technology. The laser distance sensor tends to emit very short light pulses in the nanosecond range, with signals that are statistically evaluated and thus a distance value to the object is being produced. The Wintec is available in a high-quality stainless steel housing for the first time, given the situation for extreme industrial environment. It gives the sensor great mechanical robustness as well as high chemical material resistance.
The participants will get hands-on experience on the whole range of sensors offered in the Wenglor basket which will help them to solve challenging applications in the sectors of automation, packaging, automotive, food and beverages and many more. The new “Der Wintec” laser series, PNG series + weqube, Wenglor 1D/2D Barcode Scanner, Vision Systems, Wecat 2D/3D Laser Line Sensors will be on display at the venue. Participation in this event is free, but one needs to register at nitin.sarnaik@wenglor.com to attend the program. For more details, visit www.wenglor.com
