Welspun Corp Ltd announced on Monday that it has secured a new order worth approximately ₹2,400 crore for supplying coated pipes for natural gas pipeline projects in the United States. In a regulatory filing, the company stated that these orders are expected to be executed primarily during FY26 and FY27.
“These new contracts strengthen our leading position in the US oil and gas market and reflect the trust our customers place in our capabilities. We remain dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our valued clients,” Welspun Corp stated in the filing.
With these new orders, Welspun Corp’s consolidated order book now exceeds ₹20,000 crore. Earlier in February, the company reported a significant increase in its third-quarter earnings, with net profit more than doubling to ₹672.19 crore, driven by lower expenses. However, total income for the quarter decreased to ₹3,656.57 crore, compared to ₹4,758.17 crore in the same period last year.
